Blind Design’s shutters are handcrafted to order from the finest materials and made-to-measure for a precise fit. Equally suited to contemporary or traditional decor, shutters provide a light and airy environment alongside privacy and security and will add value and elegance to your home.

Shutters allow you to control the amount of light coming into your room and can even help block out noise from the outside streets. They’re ideal for sash and bay windows, French doors and many awkward shaped windows

Choosing your Shutter Styles

Our shutters are available in a range of styles, colours, finishes and slat sizes.

Full Height Shutters

Full Height

The most popular and preferred shutter available, giving you full coverage of the whole window. Often there will be a divider rail allowing you operate the top and bottom slats separately in order to control the light in your room more easily.

Cafe Style Shutters

Café Style

Panels that cover only part of the window and let in more light than a traditional shutter. Great for rooms that are not overlooked.

Tier on Tier Shutters

Tier-on-tier

Two separate panels, one on top of the other that operate independently. These are extremely versatile and offer great privacy and control of light. Best suited for Bedrooms, Bathrooms and Dining Rooms

Solid Shutters

Tracked

Shutters that slide in a track and concertina back when opened. These offer easy access through patio doors and can be pulled back so as to not hinder the view. Not suitable for a window with a sill.

Solid Shutters

Solid

Shutters with a solid panel (rather than the normal horizontal slats. These are very insulating and give your room a cosy look.

Shaped Shutters

Shaped

Because all of our shutters are handmade to your individual specifications they are ideal for unusual or awkward window shapes and can turn them into a really stunning feature. Whether the window shape is slanted, arched, hexagonal or round we have the shutter for you.
